sounds like the flu.........usually runs its course in 24-36 hours, but could last as long as a week. flu is a virus, so no medication will cure it (unlike a cold, which is bacterial). You could take some pain reliever (ibuprofin) to help relieve symptoms such as the headache and muscle aches, or some pepto bismol for the diarrhea. liquid is much more important than actual food. Eat if you are hungry, but don't force yourself. Lots of fluids will help keep you hydrated. try some gator-aid, something that will replinish you electrolytes

Do you happen to live in Texas? Specifically the Austin area? There is a virus going around, my husband has the exact same symptoms. It started Saturday morning and he started feeling a little better this afternoon (Sunday). I would suggest the B.R.A.T diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) for the next few days as well as some tylenol and immodium A-D, if you can hold it down (or IN as the case may be). Make sure you are also getting plenty of clear liquids (chicken broth, jello, water, ginger ale etc.) and lots of rest. Feel better!!

Waymar476, I think you should only post answers that are on-topic and helpful. *chuckle* This gal's symptoms are NOT those of early pregnancy. And also, please be respectful of pregnant women and not use demeaning, immature slang like "preggo" or "preggers". I don't know of ANY woman who likes that type of wording. :(
Anyway, as for the symptoms -- I think it sounds like more than just a cold. It sounds much more like "stomach flu", which is a virus that irritates the stomach and intestines. It ALSO sounds like it might be a case of food poisoning. This is caused by various types of bacteria, the worst one being E. Coli. If your symptoms don't get better in the next few days, I think you should be seen by a doctor. You might have a bad bacterial infection! (I know, because unfortunately I've had that myself).

Sounds like a virus Vicky. Antibiotics wont help this they only help bacterial infections like strep & sinus. Fluids rest and aspirin/tynelol will make you feel better. I'd see a doctor if you dont feel better in a day or two. If it was the flu, you would have a temp of 101 or more.Feel better!

If you don't get any better by Moday, I would recommend you see a doctor. You have flu-like symptoms, but it may be something serious also. Have a doctor check you out.
