Portugal vs Holland , a disgrace, Portugal should be sent?

packing. Figo will be banned for at least one game. Are the English lucky or what (here's the question), playing against a team without at least 4 of their stars (Rinaldo, Figo,..). For the first time I cheered for the Dutch, Portugal's acting and performance was a disgrace to football.

FIGO might be banned for a game or 2 for headbutting (the ref didn't catch it). 1 yellow card from the firt round is NOT carried over.

I'm not and English supporter , I just stated that this will make it MUCH easier for the English. GO GERMANY !

Oooh, I misspelled Ronaldo's name. He's a great player (bit selfish at times), but still, FIFA will investigate this game and FIGO ought to miss one game. You obviously don't know FIFA rules when you suggest that just because a ref didn't send a player off FIFA can't react !

First of all, Figo will play (he wasn't expelled). Deco and Costinha won't be taking part in the QF. Who on Earth is Rinaldo? He's not playing for Portugal, I'm sure. As for Ronaldo, he has 6 days to recover from that disgracefull tackle from the dutch player who should have been expelled immediatelly.
Although some excesses, it was one of the best games so far. Both teams played well and both deserved to go through.
Still, Portugal has enough remaining players to continue its winning streak against England.
Oh, by the way, I really hope that english fans think twice before talking about rough tackles and agression in the pitch!!!

your question actually answers my question i supposed..i asked how many portugal player are not allowed to play?, and i supposed figo can't play because of the yellow card he got through out the world cup? is that true? i know ronaldo is injured but for how long? the red carded player of portugal are clearly not playing against england.

I did not really hate portugal but today im disappointed at them, And i was cheering for netherlands, Figo did something to one of the netherlands player and thats why someone hit him with a elbow and the fight started

Well, I have to disagree.
Portugal deserves to advance. You know why, because they really can use their chances. 1-0 that's why. Look at the stats! Holland couldn't even sack a goal with all the chances they've got.
England may have their advantages but I really hope Portugal beats them bad. And if England beats Portugal, I'll consider it as PLAIN LUCKY!

FUNNY!!! i disagree completely! rewind and see how this all started! both sides were wrong, but holland broke fair play first! this game was crazy! i agree that this match is a disgrace to the world cup... but its not portugal's fault. sent packing? YEA RITE.

I didn't see the game, but if they played like Italians played against USA....I think you are right, it's time for them to go home.
If it can't be done right, just don't do it.
