I dont understand why foreingners move to the States and then talk about how much they hate this country/Americans. They don't want to learn English and they want to change all the civil liberties and beliefs that founded America (pledge of allegiance, Christmas etc...) I believe that if someone chooses to move to a country that they should try to assimilate to the ways and customs of that country. If you hate the country so much....why even live there? Either stay in your own country or go to a country that you respect and honor.

I closed on a house in Texas last July. At closing, they estimated the property tax for the year and then had the seller pay the prorated portion of the tax for the time they owned the house in that year.

At year end however, we discovered that they had underestimated the tax and we were short on our escrow by about $2000. The mortgage company made us pay the difference to "Catch up" our escrow.

The thing that makes me mad is that this means that the sellers underpaid the tax by over $1000 at closing. Whose fault is this, mortgage company, title company, or me? Is there any way I can recover the money from the title company? Are they liable?

i have removed te address bar from the IE browser however people ac go back into the toolbars menu and add it again. i need to lock access to the toolbars, but dont know how to!

He is an 8-week old Border/Collie/Lab/Pit Bull mix. He is very playful, loves to bit things (especially my carpet and bathroom cabinet) and he is nearly house-trained, with the exception of a couple of accidents. I just can't seem to get him to walk next to me with the leash on without him running between my legs and biting on the leash.

Ok...I have been dating this guy for a couple of months. I have a 5 year old, he has a 9 year old. We have spent quite a bit of time together, but lately he hasn't been around as much. The 4 of us went away for the weekend this past weekend, and I saw a side of him that I had never seen before.
We had a very nice cabin, he invited us to go with him by the way, he and the kids got to do a lot of relaxing. Am I over reacting at the fact that the entire weekend that he never even picked up a dish to put in the sink? I don't mind cooking and such, but we have discussed the fact that I am a very busy person and that we would split chores and such if this moves on. He never helped me at all do things that had to be done around the cabin.
More importantly though was his attitude with his son, he actually yelled at him more than once and cussed him. He didn't cuss my child, but to me that doesn't matter. To me this is only an indication of what would happen in the future. Am I wrong?
