Depends. It all depends on if we can have the democratic party of that era also...this era's democratic party would definatly try to disrupt it and all kinds of specail interest groups would try to toss all kinds of political monkey-wrenches into the war effort.
Back then, people put political beliefs aside and rallied around the administration and the nation was united. Every effort made was for the GOOD of the country, no matter the political affiliation of the administration. Kinda like it was right after the attack on the nation on 9-11-01...but that feeling of being united and displaying flags and really being one united nation didn't last very long, thanks to the DNC and librals with conspericy theroies...and of course the media.
Back then (WWII) we had media and news at 6 and 11. Now we have 24 hour news networks and it is just too much info that we don't need to hear all day. If we did away with all the news it would make our nation a happier nation. Nobody likes to hear doom and gloom that the media likes to protray all day long. They always point out the bad things but seldom report on good things that happen.

It really would depend on who the allies were. Germany by population is much smaller than other countries now. Back then per say India and china didn't have a billion citizens.United States is only 300 million in comparison so the outcome would be decided on the population of this day in age. That is, if I'm following your question.

You wouldnt go to war under the same circumstances because todaythe liberal anti war lobby would say that the USA attacked itself at Pearl Harbour using remote contolled Japanese planes, and the Germans were not killing Jews in the concentration camps but that they were holiday camps.
If you did go to war, the anti war lobby would be up in arms about the bombing of factories in Hamburg and Frankfurt because 9 out of every 10 bombs in those days missed the target by about a mile and usually vapourised Herr Schmidts cottage rather than the ME109 factory.
The anti war lobby would also be very fed up that German prisoners of war were being kept in camps in Canada and not allowed to try and get back to their units. Thsi would be infringing their human rights.
Nope, you could not fight WW2 again today because it would all be Bush's fault and the liberals wouldnt allow it.

It depends, would we have the same kind of media attention focused on it? If so, many Americans would want us to never enter the war and as soon as we did would cry that we need to leave. We can never have a successful war with the media the way it is. There are somethings, as citizens, we don't need to know in order for our military to do it's job and protect us. Of course, nowadays, that's a cover up and it's evil.

War doesn't solve a damn thing. Imagine how better off we'd all be if instead of the US dropping bombs on people, they just used the same amount of dollars to purchase a new regime. There are some belligerent countries.. so drop 1,000,000$ bombs on them? heh.... global capitalism dominates, I don't know any strong nation that would oppose it. So why beat around the bush nuking people, killing soldiers etc.. Just buy up all the antagonistic nations.. they're angry because they're poor and oppressed. Bombing infrastructure and families doesn't help that.

We would probably lose because the democrats would be worried about Hitler's civil rights and trying to ruin the reputation of our troops. Man I hate Libs.
