Most people answer that it is because sound travels so much slower than light. That explains the delay, not the duration. I belive we can tell a lot about the shape and length of the lightning bolt by the duration and character of the sound produced. Faint to loud and then faint again might mean horizontal lightning where the observer is more or less in the middle. Loud and then trailing off might mean it was angled away from the observer. Anyway, I have no scientific proof of any of this. =)

I have to write report for psych class regarding the psychological control issues Clarice faced in this movie-
I know her falshbacks of her father were control issues-do you know of anymore?
Also- Clarice suffered from Post Tramumatic Stress disorder after her father dying, and running away because of the lambs- are there anymore stress issues she is dealing with?

I have read that Non Muslims are not permitted to practice their religion in Saudia Arabia and other Muslim countries. They cannot even say a simple prayer or have a Bible or Talmud or any holy book. Why is it then that Muslims all over the world (even in non-muslim lands) regard similar treatment against their practice of Islam to be "opression, persecution and a provocation" which justifies violence. In other words, "we should be able to practice our religion in your lands but you nonbelievers have no such rights in our holiest of lands. Please do not regard this sensitive question as a provocation. It's not. It's a sincere question.

I met this guy the other day, saturday to be exact, we went out on Sunday and had fun. I guess im a real pretty female bc he couldnt keep his paws off of me. I dont think he's a jerk or anything but Im used to waiting to have sex. We didnt have sex on Sunday simply bc i was on my period.
