to me liberal means that a person whose willing to make a change regardless of the party votes. Otherwise the modern day liberals want to have gay lifes, free the criminals, let cheating be ok, get rid of the church, take our rights away if we are moralist. Get the point Yet.

Please DO NOT confuse todays Liberals with Classic Liberalism,
as most of todays Libs would have you believe Liberals are about personal freedom, however Clasical liberalism is more like that, which is why i am Libertarian- or a clasical liberal- However libertarienism is more closely related to todays Conservatism than to todays Liberalism.-which is why some 60 to 80 percent of Libertarians are more conservative and only 20 to 40 percent consider themselves liberal- and todays liberalism is more closely connected to Socialism/Communism than to true Classical Liberalism.
They say they are for personal choice but, what choices do you have if the liberals of today had thier way???
The only Choice Liberals of today are willing to concede over conservatives would be abortion. However true conservatives which are more like Libertarians today or-classical liberals- with a few differences of opinion, think you should have many many more freedoms. They-libertarians- think the government should stay out of the peoples lives and let them choose just about every thing that is best for them. as do true Conservatives. i.e what school my child should go to (todays libs won't let me choose) What I can do with my property (todays libs won't let me choose) weather or not i have a right to protect myself, my family or my property ( todays libs think i have a duty to retreat) weather or not I should keep the money i earn (todays libs think it should be taken from me if i have more of it than the next guy and be given to him) or weather or not i can say something that is politically incorrect (libs get all mad if you say something bad about anyone other than a Y-T) and weather or not I should be in charge of my retirement income (libs abhor the idea of me choosing what i do with my Social security) I could go on forever but I don't have time.
It would also be of some interest that our Founding fathers where considered Liberals of their time, however, by todays standards they would be considered Right Wing Extremists or-Conservative Libertarians-
I also would like to point out that most libs of today think they are thinking for themselves when in fact they are not.
When you look at the stats such as; 7 out of 10 public school teachers are Libs, 8 out of 10 journalists are Libs, 9 out of 10 actors acrtess' singers and performing artists are Libs, 8 out of 10 College proffessors are Libs. as well as 7 out of 10 Lawyers are libs. That means, other than your parents or maybe a church group or the cub scouts (if you have belonged to any of those groups) everyone whom you look to for info while you are growing up is a Liberal -of today- and saying you are deviating from the norm and comming up with your ideas on your own is like saying a child learns to talk on its own, which is rediculous, we all know it has to hear people talking to learn. I liken the same thing to todays Liberals They absorb everything they are fed throughout their lives and spit it back out and say they thought of it themselves and that they are going against the grain when everyone they come into contact with in their public life is going in the same direction.
it usually takes a few years after college for a person to slowly change from a Liberal to a Concervative but it very rarely happens the other way around.. and it almost never happens to former Drug addicts... go figure.....

Yes they love change, a change to a Godless society, no morals, no religion, protection of deviant life styles, no boundaries of any kind, no borders no common language, and if you have morals no protection of your rights.
