Yes.

I think they have a bad press as people seem to think they are cards to do with the occult the cards are dealt but it is the readers interpretation of the what they say.

Dealing the death card does not mean you are destined to die or people around you are,it can be read like that and that then puts the person who's reading your doing into self consciously thinking they are doomed, like auto suggestion but read as a problem then there is no harm.

I have readings done by a friend and have never had anything terrible happen as a result, also there a pagan connections to the cards I think but am not 100% sure.

No, unless you have real esoteric knowledge, which most people don't. The tarot system was originally based on archetypal interpretations of different personality types, rather like astrology. Our modern card decks of clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds is related to it. The problem with divinatory tools is that people tend to believe that the 'answer' they are given is set in stone, and it isn't. Whether tarot is evil or not depends on your religious and cultural beliefs. Personally, I think it's a waste of time.

Should you pay someone to read your cards and for-tell your future? That would be a waste of money. Tarot cards are paper with pretty pictures on them. They are not a doorway for evil for they hold no power. If you want to do it for fun a reading can be entertaining. But if you want to know your future look inside yourself that's where it lies in the choices you make.

Only for fun. Nothing else. If you live by the reading and give faith to the reading you are removing yourself from God's presence. You are giving your free will to idol worship. Same goes for horoscopes. Think about it..this information is coming from modern day man/woman. Humans who are a full of sin as I so why in the world would I want to honor a tarot reading with devotion or belief?

You silly thing.......God loves you more that you can comprehend...Cool stuff

Yes - If you are a spiritual person and belive in things other than there being a god then this is for you.
I've read many tarot cards for myself and other people and as long as they are done correctly then I belive this is a good idea.

Tarot cards are a joke. They hold no power except in your mind. If you allow your mind to believe that garbage, you're opening a door for Satan to come into your life.

Why screw up your life by giving up control to what you would think is preordained (meaning u must believe in the answer of tarot cards or you wouldn't waste your time). Make your lief what you want it to be.

Get a job...don't depend on the lottery.

Revelation 22:15 and other parts of the Bible warn about seers and people who read the stars. We should avoid such activity. All we need to know and understand is in the Bible and those who profess to know others we should test them according to the Bible. Remember when Saul went to the witch for her to read his future he ended up committing suicide and God had warned him not to go to such individuals. The Bible is our true foundation and hope.

Not for me but it has nothing to do with my religious folowing...as I have none.

I just do not believe that they can possibly hold and truth...more like the person who the reading is for finds truth by assigning the reading to events that have happened or tries to assign them to future events , no matter how weak the link...a lot like astrology.

My opinion, not necessarily correct or incorrect.

A bit of light reading for anyone who wants it...

Yes or no, what?
It's a random assortment of cards designed to fleece the gullible out of thier money.
Just like religion.
So, my answer is; yes. They are both part of the same con-game.
