Ok ya'll, here it goes. My family and I got into a very bad fight a while back and they thought it was best if I moved out. Well my mom, who I love very much, was trying her best to be supportive of this and she even paid my first month's rent. Well now, mom is mad at me because I don't come home to stay. Well I realize now that I have responsibilities to my roommate and that I need to learn how to do some things on my own. She, on the other hand, thinks that I have screwed up my priorities, made bad choices, and do bad things. None of which are true. I don't go to church with them because I live an hour away now and gas isn't cheap. That really aggravates her, but I can't help it. She imagines the worst and it gets the best of her. I am not a bad person, and I don't do bad things. I am doing my very best to make something of myself and prove that I am not a helpless girl who grew up with her parents babying her. I like being responsible for myself. It isn't too fun, but I'm growing up

What does that really mean? Is it never OK to conform to different situations and adapt? Or, does that mean you're not being true to yourself. The reason I'm asking this is because I find myself subconsciously changing the way I talk depending on my environment. Around my black friends and family, I tend to talk with more slang. Around my white friends, I tend to talk more proper and say things like "awesome" or "sweet" or "bummer". It seems like i'm a bunch of different people. Some days i'm ghetto. Other days i'm prim and proper. Other days I'm rocker chic and it goes on and on.

Does this mean I haven't discovered who I really am? I'd like to think that I just have many different facets to me. What do you think?

It was a comedy and there was a scene where the main character was talking to either a store owner or restaurant owner and as they are talking his employee walks up. the store owner says to him as the employee walks in late. He says "you come late today, you come late yesterday...you're fired" and the employee gives him a cold look and says real low, F*** You". Then the store owner flips out and yells "F*** You %&%&%" and chases him out the front. I remember the scene, I just can't remember the movie....any clue out there?

I belong to a choral group who produced a liturgical choral service at the beginning of the CD era. The CD's sold like hotcakes but the LP records did not. Now we, the choir, have hundreds of vinyl records that is taking up space. Other than using them for skeet shooting, does anyone have an idea what can be done with them? Is there a company that buys them for any reason, or recycles them?
