My children have a choice between enrolling in a good high school in NJ (JP Stevens in Edison ranked #27) and the #1 high school in CA (Whitney in Cerritos).

They are A students in middle school.

Assuming that all other factors being equal (grades, achievements, awards, extra-curricular activities), will the #1 CA high school give them an edge when applying to top universities?

I'm 48 now and when I was 2 years old I was very sick with 106' temp. They gave me some kind of med...myacin??. My perm. teeth that came in were discolored. I was teased my whole childhood over it. The dentist I have been seeing sold me a 320.00 kit to whiten and it didn't do a thing!! It costs over a thousand $$ a tooth to have each tooth capped. Anything cheaper???

When it comes to relationships, why is it that most people tend to shy away of being involved with (i.e. sexually, emotionally, etc.) people of the opposite race? I am a Black man and I date women who are not black and I get looked at funny so I am trying to figure out if it has something to do with "HIS"tory or the ignorance of people in general. After all when the architects of this great country wrote the magnificent words to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they wrote a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise "We hold these truth to be self evident that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL".
