not at all , its very healthy! the only time you have to limit your ingestion of seafood is when you are pregnant , due to the possibility of mercury, but other than that , enjoy!

Yes. The mercury content in most seafood is very unhealthy. You really need to eat seafood in moderation. Doctors even suggest a 6 month span between certain fish.
If you are pregnant or planning on getting pregnant sme say you should avoid seafood all together as Mercury will seriously harm a developing infant.

sounds like you really like shellfish, which are VERY tasty, but alas the little critters are bottom-feeders...cleaning up all the muck and waste on the sea floor. These guys, along with scaleless fish such as catfish, are meant to keep the waters clean for the other marine life and not to be eaten by humans. If you must indulge: choose your seafood wisely (i.e. consider the source), devein shrimp properly and don't eat the shellfish organs (because that is where the digestion of all the muck takes place and even higher concentrations of toxins, like mercury, may be found than in the meat alone). the best way to enjoy the good aspects of shellfish (like the high iodine and mineral content) is to clean them yet cook them with their shells intact.

Not if you're eating a variety of seafood and also careful about how they're prepared. If they're deep fried, you should be worried about eating a lot of saturated fat--its a secondary concern what's being dropped into all that oil. (Also a lot of restaurants fry up seafood that's starting to go funky)
If you eat a lot of raw seafood, you might want to consider getting vaccinated for hepatitus. Also some fish put you at risk for high levels of mercury, which I would be very concerned about if you were pregnant or trying to get pregnant.
However, if prepared responsibly, seafood is a lot healthier for you than lots of red meat, pork, sausage, etc......so enjoy and don't forget to eat your veggies too!

Depends on the type of seafood... for instance shrimp has a lot of cholesterol, but red fish is good for you. Of course adding dipping sauce will add calories too. As with anything, moderation is key.

It's always good to eat a balanced diet. While I understand cravings, it's best to keep it in balance. I wouldn't eat any one meat more than twice a week. Get a variety of foods. Eating too much of one thing might not be a good thing, in the long run. That's why a lot of diets fail, because they depend on one food or food group too much. Your body needs lots of different things. Do some research and find out what's good for your body. See your doctor and talk to him/her about it. See what they suggest, according to your body's needs. Treat your body right and you'll stay healthy. <*)))><

Like everything else in life too much of something is bad enough. Seafood contains many good minerals and vitamins but also cholestrol if taken in excess, so eat in moderation.

It is unhealthy to eat anything in excess, but as long as you're not eating and abundance of the like all the time you should be fine. Be aware of fishes that could contain high amounts of mercury like Tuna for example, because that is potentially hazardous to your health.

Recent data said that more than 5 times a week can be dangerous because of too much Omega 3 being apparently bad for you.
