I love warm weather and beaches. I would consider moving out of the US if it were easy enough. I would like to live somewhere cheaper and more laid back. Any suggestions?

We stayed in Ogunquit last year and loved it. We would like to be walking distance to the ocean with a room that is around $100. Other than that, no rules...anywhere on Maine's coast is great. Any suggestions of your favorites would be great...We have bad luck picking hotels. I would not suggest The Colonial Inn, room size and bathtub were not sufficient.

I'd like to be able to take the AMHS from Skagway to Valdez when I'm in Alaska in June. I've looked at the AMHS website, but can't figure out how to do this. It looks like I'd have to change ferries, but I can't figure out where. Does anyone know what route I'd have to take to do this? Where would I have to change ferries? Thanks.

I'm in my 20s - I HATE drive (and I suck at it!) and I want to relocate to a city where I don't need a car. I'm from NJ and i've never lived without a car - it's looking like I might head to chicago - so to people without a car, what's it like? what city did you live carless in - what is your biggest hassle, etc. any advice...

my biggest fear ever is elevators. okk so heres the story...i went to the beach in august. and we stayed at this really nice place that had only been opened for like a month and a half. well i was gunna take my bro down to the pool cuz thats were everyone was but my boyfriend and gpa. well my sis was gunna come up but decided not too so i had to either climb 4 flites of stairs or take the elevator cause we were on the 12 floor. well i got in and got bt the 3rd and 4th and it bounced and stopped. at first the 911 button wouldnt work and finally i got it to. i was paniking big time and i started freaking out. i was screaming and my bf heard me on the 12th floor. it took them a little over 45 minutes to get me out. talk about scary. i ddint have nothing with me. that was about 5 months ago and recently ive been having really bad flashbacks. is this normal?? what should i do?

I think that she said that it was like 3 miles away from disney and i think it started with a d, like i said, and well i was wondering if anyone could tell me some cities that do start with a d, and possibly links to condos in sthat area? if not, thats fine, just the city would be great.

My family along with another family are looking for a good vacation spot in North or South Carolina other that Myrtle Beach. We would still like to be on the beach. The kids range in age from 2 through 13. We do like the fact that Myrtle Beach has many things going on and lots to do. We have been there several times are are looking for somewhere different. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Me and my boyfriend have 3 weeks holiday to take next June/July, and we want to travel around the US.

We're thinking of doing so with a combination of Greyhound buses, hire cars and internal flights.

So far, NYC, Los Angeles, Boston and Las Vegas are on the list of must see places.

Where else would you recommend? Which methods of transport would be the best?

We're looking for the following: nice scenery, good weather, some nightlife/shopping and perhaps some 'real' America away from the touristy bits.

We're 21 and 24 and have a budget of about £4,000 (or $8,000) in total.

what is it like to live in south florida? what are the homes like..are they nice? how is the pay in the medical field? me and my wife are both in the medical field..so would we make good pay and would we be able to live in a decent neighborhood and home? i was thinkin more like west palm beach to miami areas like boca raton, deerfield beach, fort lauderdale ect. how many hurricanes come each year? and are the beaches and everything clean? me and my wife are also fluent in spanish...we took it in collage..soo hopefully that helps..also wwe are planning on having a family there to so tell me what the schools are like..just give me goods and bads about south florida and try to make it very detailed..thank you..
