Philadelphia.
The first time I was there was on Mother's Day. First nice weather that spring and there was a car on fire and two small boys on bikes watching it burn..smoke to the sky.
Not another soul in sight.
add: Camden, N.J. which is just across the river.

Little Rock, Arkansas
There's a murder there every day...
but it is in the part of town that drugs, etc are popular.
The part I was in was very nice and the people were friendly and warm and loving.
Just like everywhere -
good people are good
and bad people are too dumb to know HOW to be good.
Here's something funny - I just read the other answers and I have lived in St. Louis, Detroit, and spent a lot of time in New York City. Oh well, everything is relative.

I didnt know it until I spoke with the natives but when I went to Chicago. I got warned to stay off of State street and whatever I do avoid riding the rail because of the danger. I live in Florida and I personally think that Miami is very dangerous because everyday all you hear is someone was found stuffed somewhere or floating somewhere.

I live in UK and there are some dangerous places in south england. Especially at night. London can be quite bad at there is Whitley, Woodley and other places. The small towns can be more dangerous than the big cities sometimes.
