I'd like to be able to take the AMHS from Skagway to Valdez when I'm in Alaska in June. I've looked at the AMHS website, but can't figure out how to do this. It looks like I'd have to change ferries, but I can't figure out where. Does anyone know what route I'd have to take to do this? Where would I have to change ferries? Thanks.

Very doable itinerary and I have done it a bunch...
As mentioned, you will transfer ships in Juneau, and jump ship in Valdez.
Your trip starts with a Southeast cruise, changes to a cross Gulf cruise to South Central.
