hey i'm 16/in 10th grade and i live with my mom and dad. we live in massachusetts and we want to move to florida and we have family that goes to marco island a lot.. is it a nice place to live? we were thinkin about orlando but everyone says it sucks. where does marco island go to high school because we looked it up and they don't have one...

I wouldn't. With Hurricanes getting Stronger & STRONGER due to Global Warming; & the Sea levels rising ALL the time- Marco Island may not be around much longer as a place to Live... :(

Marco island is nice and that area of Florida actually gets the fewest hurricanes so its sorta safe. It is a lot better than Orlando. You can walk and ride your bike around and enjoy the beach. In Orlando it is all cement and driving to tourist type places that get old quick. Marco island has tons of rich people too so you would be in the company of international rich boys instead of the rednecks in Orlando. You would be going to high school on the mainland in Naples. Naples is one of the richest communities in the US it also has some of the nicest beaches in the world.

It is part of Collier county and the high school would be in Naples. It is a beautiful part of Fl. and weather always great. It is much better than Orlando......that is good for a trip to Disney but thats it.
