I live around Pittsburgh and people consider Portland Oregon a bigger city than Pittsburgh. I was looking for the Pittsburgh category in yahoo answers and it was not there. The Steelers are 4-1 and we barely get any national recognition. When they are tours, they never come to Pittsburgh. No on visits. What wrong wih this place. I think it great and it has a lot of history.

I'm just wondering because I am 13 years old and I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I really want to run away from home, but I have no money and no place to go. If I did run away, does anyone know where I could go? What all should I bring? If I have to buy something, what should I get? And how could I make my living conditions, after I run away, the best they can be?

No matter what you say, I will run away, so don't even try and talk me out of it. So, just tell me what I asked for and nothing else.

Have you travelled to Tuweep area of Grand Canyon before? I saw it from nps.gov, it gives best steep view of the canyon, but the road is really tough, I would like to know your personal experience. Can I go there alone by a 2 wheel drive rental car?
And I would like to hike to phantom ranch, do you think it really takes 2 days, and how about the view from the trail?

I have visited grand canyon twice( south, north rim) before, so this time I need some special. Thanks.

I am going to America for two months as a tourist and on the VWP (visa waiver program) I know i will be asked to show proof of financial solvency. I will be staying in an apartment so I will not need money for hotels. Could anybody tell me if there is a minimum amount of money to show as proof for the length of time i will be staying? -please answer seriously- Thanks

A group of us is thinking about doing some light hiking at the Delaware Water Gap Recreation area to view the fall colors. We just want to hike for a couple of hours then explore a small town like Milford, PA. I am trying to find out if it is possible to park in Milford and hike around the immediate area? I am thinking maybe hiking at Dingmans Falls then driving up to Milford later. Does anyone have any recommendation?

I've been to the relevant Web sites for the Delaware Water Gap and Milford, but cannot find the information I am looking for. Such as parking, hiking trails, etc.

Thanks

I would like to meet my friend from Portland for a couple of days over thanksgiving vacation. I live in Albuquerque. Where should we meet that would make sense? It has to be something nature related. Where we can go on hikes and camp. One or both os us could fly, if need be. I would prefer a drive of 8 hours or less if I could help it.

We are going on a big group vacation next summer and we are getting a beach house and I want to take my fishing gear, but my husband says we would have to get a fishing license in that state first. I'm not sure how to go about finding information.

Would like to spend about 4 days in and around Pasadena CA rose parade coming from Oklahoma City. Have large family (8 people). What is the cheapest way to go? Fly, drive, motorhome? How do we find the cheapest motels and food and possibly airfare for 8 people. Is it possible to camp out just before the parade? Would like to hear from someone who's been, there done that. Is is possible to get good motel reservations now? If so, what motel(s) would you recommend. Maybe a motel with kitchen? What else is there to see and do in Pasadena the end of December and 1st of January? Maybe fly near Pasadena and rent a van or depend on public transportation?

1. San Diego (flying)
2. Seattle (flying)
3. Las Vegas (flying)
4. Miami (flying or by car)
5. "megalopolis tour" by car - Washington DC, Philly, NYC, Atlantic City, Boston
6. Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati Ohio (by car)
7. Memphis TN & Tunica MS by car
8. Costa Rica

I enjoy golf, spectator sports (particulary baseball), restaurants, bars/nightclubs, playing poker. The trip would be for a week anywhere but the megalopolis tour which would probably require two weeks. There's no right or wrong answer, your opinion counts.
