A group of us is thinking about doing some light hiking at the Delaware Water Gap Recreation area to view the fall colors. We just want to hike for a couple of hours then explore a small town like Milford, PA. I am trying to find out if it is possible to park in Milford and hike around the immediate area? I am thinking maybe hiking at Dingmans Falls then driving up to Milford later. Does anyone have any recommendation?

I've been to the relevant Web sites for the Delaware Water Gap and Milford, but cannot find the information I am looking for. Such as parking, hiking trails, etc.

Thanks

I second the suggestion for Bushkill Falls its my favorite hike on the Pa side of the gap. Dingmans Falls is a very easy board walk hike to two water falls paved parking lot near the visitor center. Childs park area of the park has nice trails past water falls and old ruins. the recreation path in Milford is nice easy hike as well. stop by one of the visitor centers and buy a copy of the park trail guide it has maps and details of all the park trails.

I don't know about your specific area, but have you checked out Bushkill Falls?
They have parking, snacks, restrooms, and your choice of several trails.
Might be an alternative for you.
