I assume you mean driving.

If you are alone, 500 miles is a lot. With another driver, you can add 100 miles or so. Anything more than 10-12 hours in the car, and you start getting a little punchy, even if you aren't driving all of it.

I've heard people drive straight through from the Northeast to Florida, but it's not easy.

I always hated homework questions like that because there is no right answer .
I can drive 1000 miles a day any of the week w/o breaking a sweat.
The way I do it that i keep my mean speed and my average speed as close to each other as possible
On a 1000 mile trip I may lose a total of 30 minutes for the two gas stops and that's alI I'll lose.
Go around all cities Keep it at 10-15mph above posted . Don't stop for anything that you don't have to and you will cover alot of ground in a very short period of time.
15 hours of driving is 15 hours of driving .The difference is that in 15 hours of driving at an average speed of 50 mph you will cover 750 mile and at an average speed of 65mph you will cover 975 miles -a huge difference
