anybody live in gainesville fl?

I am going to be moving there and would like to know what people think. I am currently in ca. Thanks

yeah , tons of folks live there

some of my wife's family are there

its nice, the University seems especially nice

warm, its a small town, some of the old time Southern attitudes there though, for better or worse

I'm from Jacksonville, about 45 minutes from Gainesville. Basically it's just your typical college town, nothing to do except the usual like bowling, pool......It's not really big, they have an airport, and they have a city bus system.
