Paper routes for kids are disappearing, and a reason is the decline of afternoon papers. Morning papers are now the ones that have survived for the most part. It's a little tough to find kids who can get up at 6 a.m. to deliver them. Not only is that a tough chore, but there are state laws affecting when minors can start working on a given day.

Try local weekly papers. Those are still delivered via "paperboy" in some towns.
