I'm going to be taking a road trip soon from New York to West Canada and i'll be stopping at a number of places. Do any GPS systems out there work for that sort of US/Canada combination? If so, what GPS is good to get?

My mom is planning for us to move this summer..but where??

I am wondering :

1 What kinds of apples do they grow there?
2 Do they grow a lot of heirloom apples now?
3 When is apple picking time?
4 Is it possible to visit the area and find orchards that let the public in to pick apples themselves?
5 Are there other things to do in the area, so a day trip could
include a couple of nice activities like picking apples and something else to complement it?
6 Is there a boat that travels the Hudson River and makes stops at various points .... like the apple growing area, etc?

i am looking for a new place to relocate my family. my son will be just starting kindergarden next year. and we are from a simi small town and want to move to a bigger place with more stuff to do. i really just want to know if any one lives there or grew up there and how they feel about it.

I am looking into spending a week in Haiwii probably in may.

Can some of you who are in the know give me some advise on the best island to visit and the best hotel?

I was thinking of Maui, but I hear that it has gone so commercial and many of the hotels are getting old and run down, but still charge huge prices.

Over all, looking for an island that has both lots to see but also is relaxing. I don't mind spending big money on a hotel, but it has to be nice. I don't want "motel 6" at resort price. I want the resort, no matter what the price.

Any and all advice would be helpful.

I am taking my son to the Science Museum in Roanoke Virgina for his birthday, but am having trouble finding directions how to get there from TGI Fridays at Valley View Mall in Roanoke VA.

And I'm talking like about the long run. In life I want to do a lot of traveling and even a lot of snowboarding. Oh oh... and camping too. So, I know that sound's like out west yonder would be best 4 me... but what do ya' think about Fl. and Miami. Would that be a good area to consider? And I'm open to other suggestion's too, like other places in country.
