How safe is it there? Does the population include many hispanics or would I feel out of place? Hows the weather? Hows the cost of living? Any info would be helpful!!

My parents live in Hialeah and they have a section 8 voucher. I'm moving to Orlando,Florida and I was wondering if it can be transfered over there so they can move close to me. They are in their 70's and I would like to have them close.
I can't get a straight answer from the Hialeah office. They say that they are not allowed to move farther than 10 miles from Hialeah, but that is not what I understand when I read the section 8 rules . Can somebody help me ?

I need to get the heck out of Texas!! I am so tired of my life here. Theres nothing left for me. Can someone please give me more suggestions on cities to live in? I am a single 31 year old mom with 5 kiddos. I need a safe place to go. Last time someone suggested Columbus Ohio and it sounded great but then to learn that there are tornadoes there! I need a safe place to relocate. Anyone please??? Nowhere where it is too hot either please.

I will be driving from Niagara to Miami over a 4 day period next month, as part of my vacation.
I don't want to spend all my time on freeways, and would like to see a little of America along the route but need to make steady progress to Miami as I have a cruise booked.

Any suggestions as to routes/attractions would be appreciated, as well as areas to avoid!

I'm curious cause the weather here in Cali is getting warmer each day, but at the same time I don't want to walk barefoot through the security check points while milions and milions of people have walked through and stepped through the same spot I'm sure my barefoot will land on and who knows what kind of bacteria is living on Airport floors.

Hi, everyone. I plan on moving to one of these 2 cities, which one is better, since I'll be raising my 3 children there and I don't know the area.
Which one has a lower crime rate, and a better school district.
It seems to me like if Brownwood is in the Middle of No where, by looking at the maps.
Also how much are houses in those 2 areas.

New York has the Statue of Liberty and Empire State, along with Broadway, Times Square, yellow taxis, crazy drivers, delis, rudeness, ghettos, intellectual snobs, TV broadcast, dirty subways, and so on. Los Angeles and Chicago have their own uniqueness as well that we may already be tired of hearing. But how about Houston, the 4th largest city in the States?
