And I'm talking like about the long run. In life I want to do a lot of traveling and even a lot of snowboarding. Oh oh... and camping too. So, I know that sound's like out west yonder would be best 4 me... but what do ya' think about Fl. and Miami. Would that be a good area to consider? And I'm open to other suggestion's too, like other places in country.

Hey Fly-dude
you're scaring me here--- as young as you are and already talking about somewhere to "end up"---damn dude, lighten up-- you still have a lot of life ahead of you -- so try a little of this and that and keep your options open !! Leave this "end up" talk for your mid-thirty's !!!

With the "facts" that you've entered here-- sounds to me like you are Arizona bound !! You are going to be in ready access of the Colorado snowboarding and camping Heaven and still not having to deal with the incredible hassle of living with the hard core problems of life IN the mountains AT winter craziness !!! And, I wouldn't suggest of even think of advising someone to do the California thing--- it is just entirely TOO MUCH--- literally TOO MUCH--- to many people-- too much craziness---too much traffic---too much hype---too much crime---too many taxes--- too many problems ---etc etc etc !!!!!!!
And, forget Florida---no snowboarding---no camping (without a 24 hr alligator watch) and you're going to be up to your doo daa's in expatriated Cubans and extremely elderly Jewish retirees from New York and New Jersey --- not that there is anything at all wrong with any of these folks--- I mean -- I DO love 'em all--- but not in the 96% range of dominate species category !! And, besides, Florida is just too damned close to the Bermuda Triangle (we don't want to loose you, dude !!)

For snowboarding forget FL. I hate to say that because I love Miami... I lived in Daytona Beach for my freshman year in college and it's nothing out of this world. It's pretty dead for most of the year except for spring break and bike week. Oh and the NASCAR thing. And the weather feels so hot! Partly because it's so humid. Don't let that confuse you though, cause I'm talking of two entirely different cities. Then I spent the summer in California before I transferred to Arizona State. It was awesome over there and you get anything you want from California, at a premium for cost of living though. However, with a decent job that cost could be offset, I don't know. I've been in AZ for about 18 months and I love it. I have driven to Cali when I feel like it because it's not too far. AZ is definitely not as exciting as CA but I am glad I am where I am. It's not humid like some parts of CA and you get sunshine for many days in a year. AZ is cheaper to live and the streets are very well planned, in my opinion. Oh man I could go on forever... Where you should go depends on so many things: schools and acceptance rates, etc...
