I just took a trip about 3 weeks ago, Don't pack any lotions or creams in your carry on pack them in your suitcase. There are certain types of film that can't go thru the x-ray so if your taking any put it in a clear bag and hand it to the security and they'll tell u if it can go thru or not. Also wear clean socks have to take off your shoes to go thru security!

Any liquids that you have need to be in containers that are 3oz or less, and must be all sealed up in ONE ziploc-type clear, quart sized bag. If it's "close" (my friend had eyedrops with here that weighed in at 3.2oz) they will confiscate them unless they're prescription. Liquids includes things like toothpaste, hair gel, hand lotion, etc. Also, make sure not to take any sharp objects, including nail files, eyeglass repair kits, etc. out of your purse. weapons unnessacary medications and cosmetics pretty much anything you will not need uring your flight
