i am looking for a new place to relocate my family. my son will be just starting kindergarden next year. and we are from a simi small town and want to move to a bigger place with more stuff to do. i really just want to know if any one lives there or grew up there and how they feel about it.

It will cost a fortune to live in San Francisco. I would look for property on the east side of the bay. There is great transportation.

I lived there for 9 years and all i will declare isn't any!!!!!! The areas of SF you notice in the flicks are consistently the comparable neighborhoods. Then there are the porno shops merchandising their wares in the domicile windows. A fabulous place and lots to see and do BUT it costs a LOT of money!!very expensive cost of living in SF. even San Jose is now getting to be exorbitant!pretty soon you will have to live in Eureka to afford anyplace?

I haven't been to California or anywhere on the west coast for that matter. I just have a question to some of the people that answered your question. What is wrong w/gay people? All you keep saying is that it has alot of gays. Do you guys have homophobia or what?, i'm not gay and find nothing wrong with them.
