No. Its like living where there are tornadoes, you just don't think about it because you were taught what to do about it.
I lived through the 94 Earth quake and did what I was taught to do and even though my North/South wall came tumbling down in my side yard and some damage to the hearth and a lose water heater... we fixed it all and enjoyed some normal after shocks.
So no. We recover quickly and get on with living our lives.

ive lived in cali my whole life and you just cant worry about it, sure be prepared for if it should happen but you just gotta live without thinkin about it
