Me and my friends are from ohio and are currently thinkin about takin a trip to Alaska before we venture to college. We are super excited but would also like to know what it's like there. Can anyone help us? It would be nice to know a local.

I'm going to be on vacation in Florida (Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando) for St. Patty's Day weekend. It's gonna be the frist in a long time that I will be missing my town's annual St. Patty's Day parade. I would like to attend one while i'm in Florida (1) so i don't miss out on my annual ritual and (2) to experience another towns' parade. I'm willing to travel anywhere on the east coast to go to one... so if you know of any fill me in!

I live in San Jose, CA & my husband asked if I wanted to go to Tahoe this weekend. We have never been there so I wouldn't even know how to begin on planning where to stay & what to take. my friend and i are both 20 years old. i can't find any good websites for accomodations. a lot of hotels require you to be 21. i don't care if we have to camp but, we can't find any good websites that even give that as an option. does anybody have any ideas?

My cousins and I have been going a a Girls Only vacation for the last 2 years. First we went to myrtle beach, then atlanta. The age range is 16-30. Was thinking of Atlantic City this year. Have any other ideas. We like sightseeing and clubbin(not the teenagers of course). A majority of the time is us in the room talking an laughing. Would prefer to stay on the east coast since late planning(all live in VA or NC)

I'm thinkning about moving from Cali, to Kentucky and I was just wondering if any one who lives or has lived there has any suggestions about good places to move there. I'm looking for a place with a lot of land. I have horses so I need places for them and I'm hoping to get more animals. So pretty much something with a lot of pretty land. But also when I first go out there I may need to just live in an apartment for a year or so...so if any onw knows a town that has good, some what cheap apartments, and I need to be able to get a job there.

I'm looking for good spots for Rockhounding that are open to the public. An example would be the Quartz Mines in Arkansas where you pay a fee and get to dig for crystals. Quartz is pretty, but I've got plenty and would love some variety. Thank you!

Okay, so I play with this orchestra and we will be traveling to perform in Oklahoma. this is my first time, and apparently it will be 7 hours on this tour bus.
