My relatives go up there all the time. There's gambling, shows, tons of food, skiing, shopping, any kind of outdoor activities like water skiing, boating in warmer weather. It's sort of like a mini-Las Vegas but with a nature option.

heh. it's always smart to go somewhere and have no idea what to do.

But Tahoe has some of the best hiking and snowshoeing I've ever done.
