Where is a nice, fun yet romantic place to go for my 2nd year anniversary?

I would like to find somewhere nice to go within the United States for a 3-5 day trip. I would like to go somewhere we can have fun, eat, drink and have a romantic evening at the end of the day for a reasonable price. (500-800 per person)

I so agree, Lake Tahoe is all of these things you mentioned. Beautiful, scenery to stand in awe of!
Romantic, well anyplace can be romantic with the right person.
Fun, ditto with the right person.
Lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes right around the lake.
And you have the casinos, and so many other activities in the area.

The only thing is, it may be a bit more expensive than other locales. You could try for a package deal at Caesars, Harrah’s, Harveys, The Horizon, Bill’s or Lakeside Inn.

But you know, there are many beautifully-located bed and breakfasts (on lakes and rivers, or in the mountains) right across the country.
Just do a search for one near you, you will be amazed at what is around! Places you didn't even know existed.
No matter where you go, you can make it wonderful yourself!
