I live in Toronto and in the summer me and my family want to go somewhere.

Choice #1 : flight from Toronto straight to L.A.
Choice#2 : from Toronto to Montréal to New Brunswick to Maine to New Hampsire to Massachusetts to Road Island to Connecticut to New York and then back to Toronto. (all by car)

Which one would me more enjoyable and have more things to do like shopping for example...or anything fun or interesting. If you have any other ideas please post them, although it has to be in the U.S.

I'd like to spend some 6 months or more in the USA,possibly in LA.I live in Italy and this has been a dream of mine since I was a child.How could I make it come true?Of course I cannot afford such a long vacation so I'm just askink for any possible way to do it without spending a fortune.

I have inadvertently booked aflight to usa which is longer than 90 days allowed on visa waiver. However I would like to go and see my son in Canada. will i then be ok as on entering usa again i will be on a new 90 day stay

In fact when I left Graceland I had the most horrible feeling of depression ever. I felt as if Elvis's house has some strange evil presence there that I cannot describe. I was very excited to go and visit it but when I left I was speechless. I think the only peaceful area of the house id where Elvis's grave is. It is a very somber area, but the house is aweful. There is something horrible there that I cannot describe and it stayed with me for almost two days. Even the staff are very cold and rude! I think a minister needs to go there and do some kind of heavy blessing over the house because there is just an aweful precense there?
Has anyone had this type of expirience going to Graceland? Can anyone relate?

We live in East Texas. I am ready for a vacation as soon as my son gets home from college in June. He is 21, daughter 19, and son 12. We need a place to go we all can enjoy. We live in the country so no camping please. On vacation we like to stay busy. I like to shop too. I love flea markets but the rest of the family doesn't. Amusement parks are ok for a day. I would like something where my husband and I could steal away by ourselves and have dinner and maybe a dance one night. We don't drink or party. Is there anything out there that could accomodate this large age range and keep the kids having fun too? Thanks for any ideas!
