I'm happy to live in one of the suburbs,just which one?And which to avoid? Any idea about the job situation out there? Are there lots or is it seasonal. We have never been but we are like 3 hours away and where thinking of driving up in the near future for the weekend but every one ive talked to said its a zoo in there way too crowded to enjoy.Any body been and know a good time to go i know not during summer.

i am looking to move in the next 2-3 months from ga to tn and am desperate to find someone who is from there that can give me some advice and phone numbers of some cheap but decent places to live and raise a family. where i currently live in my opinion is a disaster waiting to happen. i have 2 girls and a boy plus myself so a 3 bdroom would be ideal. please help me. i can barely stand it where i live anymore.

I've heard of places you can pan for gold or dig for gems (diamonds & opals) in the Western US and am looking for places to go in the eastern US. Only thing I've found specifically is "Herkimer Diamonds" in New York state.
SO, I'm hoping some folks out there might know of other places I could find. THANKS!!!

My 11 year old son and I will be taking a road trip from Chicago to Burleson, Texas (sister is moving and I'm driving her truck so she can drive the U-Haul).

I don't know what route we will be taking yet, but does anyone have any great places along the way that we should stop and see? The route may just depend on the things we want to see.

I'm also interested to know what there is around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We're not going to have a ton of money to blow in the cities and I like to spend time with my son. Anything within 4 hours of the Fort Worth area that's a must see?

Although we love museums and visiting strange cities for a day, natural attractions are our favorites.
