No matter where you move its going to be the same. You have to get up out dah house and find something to do.
My suggestions are
- call a friend or two and hang out.
- Head to a local park and take a walk.
- How about checking out the christmas lights at night? Take a friend along ;-)
- maybe a trip to the mall to watch the crazy people trying to find gifts for people they really do not like or want to buy for..hehehe
- rent a movie or go to the movies.
- Goto a local grocery store and count how many bald guys you see. Really! I saw some kids going this once. Funny stuff.
- well, thats all the ideas I have right now cause I 'm bord too and live on the other side of PA. Maybe central PA is where all the action is?

Ha I'm 16 too and used to hate Pittsburgh and then my family moved to Raleigh where all the Pittsburgh people seem to be relocating, and I could not wait to get out that place(boredem) so my family ended up moving back to Pittsburgh. JUST TRUST ME da burgh is not as bad as you think it is. You would never know unless you lived somewhere else.
In other words Pittsburgh does NOT suck. And besides it's easier for teens to get jobs here than somewhere else.

Pittsburgh is a quite previous city so many of the homes are older yet searching on the are you're searching in a lot of of those older homes were transformed. Shadyside is slightly on the pricy section, yet very "hip" and has a large number of places to eat and drink. Squirrel Hill is interior sight and slightly more on your price range, predominantly Jewish households and faculty scholars, once back a large number of retailers, eating places, and bars. both Shadyside and Squirrel Hill are on the point of Oakland, which i'm assuming you'd be operating on the grounds that this is the position many of the hospitals are. Regent sq. is slightly extra away, yet only as nice and there is a huge park Frick Park once you're into that variety of element. once you're searching for some thing slightly more on your price range and larger "indie" look at Bloomfield or Lawrenceville--well-loved of their personal accurate and many places to bypass yet slightly grittier. good luck! Pittsburgh is a good position to stay

Heinz History Museum...take a trip down to Fort Necessity and the Laurel Highlands...head up to Indiana to the Jimmy Stewart Museum...Carnegie Science Center...get a book on downtown Pittsburgh architecture and do a self-guided walking tour...go for a hike at McConnells Mill or Moraine State Park...
Pittsburgh doesn't suck - there's plenty to do if you're willing to get out and explore!

I don't think Pittsburgh sucks. I've been there on a few occasions and have always had a great time. Go to the Andy Warhol museum, get some Christmas shopping done, check out the thrift stores...don't take your city for granted. Visit some tourist sights and find out what others like to do when they go there.
I don't think anyone has a right to say their city sucks - then you're just bringing down moral. If you don't like it, then move and let everyone else who does like Pittsbugh enjoy it.

Sounds as if you're having a bad day on the pity pot. Maybe if you expose yourself to those who are less fortunate, you'll get a different perspective on life. How 'bout volunteering at a soup kitchen or stand out in the cold collecting for the Salvation Army. Life is what YOU make of it.
