my mom is trieng to book a trip but we want o stay onsite for the magic hours and hooper things. but no hotels will let us. what should we do?? any suggestions??

I am going to Universal Orlando. I am staying in the park for 3 nights with my husband and 9 year old daughter. After that I wanted to stay somewhere on a nice beach and relax, maybe snorkel or do some water activities. I was told about the Liki Tiki Village but the reviews are terrible, although it looks like something I might like, most people say stay away. Does anybody else have any ideas?

My nephew (10 years old) is a big Star Wars fan. I've heard they have special Star Wars Week-Ends at Walt Disney World. I'd like to take him. Does anyone have any info. about this? When it is, does it cost any extra, has anyone ever gone, can you tell me if you liked it, why or why not? Thanks!

I wanted to know, because I do not want to be surprised. On 2003 I went there with small children and was surprised by the Gay Day thing, and they get really nasty with each other. They do not respect the people around. I don't want my 8 year old seeing that. They are everywhere around the parks. Please...what is that? How come they don't tell us BEFORE us entering the park? There is absolutely no warning about it. You actually pay to see them kissing and touching each other there.

I am 23 and am looking for a younger crowd. I just got back from visiting the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami/West Palm area and I wasn't too impressed. What other cities are there in FL that are rather larger cities with great nightlife and good job opportunities? I'm not racist at all, but I felt that being white was the minortiy in the Southern FL area. Any suggestions on a nice upscale city in FL?

We are planning to build a new home around the Tampa, FL area sometime next spring. (Right now we are living in Pittsburgh, PA.)
We want to buy something less than $500k with a pool, 4-6 bedrooms, 3500+ square feet, and a fair plot of land.
Can you get a decent home around $400k?
(I have heard that Tampa is quite expensive for new homes.)
I have checked into some homebuilders in FL and requested some info, but photos only do so much.
If anyone has any experience with any builders down there it would be appreciated.
That way we fly down to get more info we won't waste any unnecessary time.

Hi there, I'm going to Disney World this Sunday and I wanted to know what the best transportation means were. We're staying at a hotel in Kissimmee...so from the airport, should we take a taxi there? A shuttle?

And for anyone that has used the taxis, shuttles, etc. to get around, how much do they usually charge? Say, per mile?

I live in boring Monroe, LA.. there's nothing to do. i'm thinking of moving out on my own. Ive never done anything on my own like this, and i think this would be a great eye opening experience for me. i'm wanting to move to Florida.. Orlando prefferably, because ive been there before and i love it. Is this a good place for a 19-20 year old to live for a year or so???
