I live in Central Florida and there are many things you can do. For example, beaches are about 45 min away if you head to Cocoa, Titusville or Melbourne. There is Cape Canaveral, where there are free casino cruises. A cruise to the Bahamas for the weekend is about $299-$399. There are the theme parks, a little pricey, but good for a once or twice a yr. thing. Great restaurants, many very well priced! There are a lot of festivals organized here, anyhting from health to food festivals. Just keep an eye on your newspaper or local TV staions for announcements. Awesome shopping. If you like baseball, many teams play in FL for spring training, and the tickets are reasonably priced. If you have more time you can head to Clearwater beach (in my opinion, one of the best beaches in FL) or take a drive to Miami, where there is an awesome nightlife and great shopping (hotels can be reasonalbly priced depending on season). I have been here for 12 yrs and I love it! Hope you love FL as I do! Good luck!

Depends on which part of Florida you are going to.
Northern Florida has a lot of rivers, National Parks, and freshwater streams, so you could go camping, canoeing, and hiking.
If you are along the coast, you could go to the beach, boating, fishing, scuba diving and sightseeing.
Central Florida has a bunch of great amusement parks, like Disney World, and Universal Studios.
Theres tons of things to do here since the weather is typically nice all year round.
Have fun.

I would ask the people who have had to rebuild their homes each year due to the hurricane,, we only had to go through it once ,,,and I couldn't do it over and over like they did.. we were out of our home for a month.
I would move far away from the coast...will Cuba allow you to move??????????????
