My friend lives in Florida and wants to buy me passes to DisneyWorld as a gift, but I've heard that to use them, you have to show proof of residency. Does anyone know? I don't want her to waste her money if we can't use them.

I am thinking of taking a kayaking tour there and want to know how safe it will be for my family. If there are, what kind are they and will we see them?

could any one advise if you can get to universal studios (orlando) from international drive without a car. I dont think the i-ride trolley goes there. Which would be the nearest i-ride stop, or is there a walking route (say from i-drive and sand lake road crossover)? Thanks, Andrew

I need to know what your favorite Deluxe Disney resort is, Wilderness Lode, Polynesia, Grand Flor....etc. I'm staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge, but I want to know what your favorite is and why. Also if you've ever stayed at a Disney Timeshare (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Saratoga, Old Key West, etc...) tell me about it and why you liked it so much, or why you didn't. Thks in advance! :)

We've booked a hotel in september at Disneyworld Orlando. I wonder, what happens if there is a hurricane during our stay. Orlando is not at the coast. Do you still have trouble with the hurricane? You hear several days before that the hurrican might strike, so plenty of time to flea a thousand miles north and have your vacation over there. Do you get your money back if you don't stay at the hotel because of the hurricane?

I'm going to stay in one of the Disney Hotels on disneyland Florida in September. I also want to buy some books from amazon.
I'm living in the Netherlands. It's a bit weird to let them send to Europe and take them on my plane to Disney. It would be easier and cheaper to let them deliver on the hotel I'm staying with. Problem: they might off course arrive two or three days before I arrive. Would that be a problem? What would you advise? Send the package to a post office (general delivery). Disadvantage: I have to find a post office in Orlando, or is there a post office in Disneyland. What would you do?

I'm trying to get a feel for what I want to do and stay at Disney? We're taking our 3 & 5 year olds. They love Herbie and Toy Story so figured Movies resort would be perfect. Want to stay by the pool though. Also, what would be good for their ages besides the Magic Kingdom. Prob spend half a day at Epcot and the other half at MGM. Already know we're spending a whole day at MK. Thanks for any input!

We are returning to Florida for our holiday, but looking for different places to go other than the theme parks as we have been there the last 3 times. Looking for nice beeches near Kissimmee and things a 61/2 year old girl would enjoy. Any ideas
