The Imagineers put them in to kind of claim their creations. It was very obvious to them but they did it for the fun of seeing if people could find them. Hidden Mickey's aren't the only thing that they out in. On a lot of rides they use their initials or their own likenesses. For example, in the mural in Cinderella Castle the two people who are presenting Cinderella her shoes are actually the imagineers who designed the castle.

Somebody told me that it started like a joke among the Imagineers (the designers and builders of Disney attractions). Then guests and Disney employees started spotting them and today they are anticipaded in any new constuction at Walt Disney World.

It was started by the Disney Imagineers.

They are concealed in the designs of the rides, signs, and resorts to name a few.

It is just for fun.

I think its all apart of there grand sceam, to brain wash us subliminally. Maybe they are trying to tell us, we are all Mickey Mouse...
