Hotel rates can vary widely based on the time of year and the time of week when you travel. If you're staying at a property that serves mostly business travelers, you may find great weekend deals, while B&B's and other leisure properties tend to have lower rates midweek. On a broader scale, know when the peak seasons to visit your destination are such as wintertime in the Caribbean or summertime in Europe. Rates will be sky-high at those times of year, so scheduling your trip for a less popular travel time could save you big bucks on your hotel. Some hotel websites hide the true cost of a stay until the final booking page. In some cases, the first time you'll find out the true figure is at the hotel. This is because websites sometimes say taxes at the relevant percentage rate for that destination apply, on top of the price displayed.

Are you doing Disney? Then ONLY stay at a WDW resort. For a good price look into the value resorts at WDW. Every resort in disney is nice and very clean I have stayed off site twice, on site 4 times. I will never ever stay off site ever again. Too many hassles. Transportation from these hotel with their shuttle service is HORRID.
