I used to be a full time front desk cast member (and am now a seasonal cast member) and you can absolutely do that. If you know which hotel you are staying at, you can call or go online to get the address. Be sure to put your name;it's helpful if you add "guest" at the end (that helps it find its way to the front desk)- for example, "John Smith (guest), c/o Disney's All Star Movies..."
If you order the books such that they would arrive before you, the hotel will look you up in their computer system, make a note on your reservation, and hold the package until you arrive.

Call the parks and ask if they will hold a package for you. I arrived at Disney World on a vacation that I had won and there was a package the sponsor had sent waiting at the front desk for me. I expect you would send it to yourself in care of the hotel you are staying at and try to target the delivery as close to your arrival as you can. Amazon takes a long time for books whenever I order from them. Usually three weeks for normal delivery (if I am in a hurry, I order from Barnes & Noble)

I've stayed in Disney hotels, and they are usually extremely accommodating. I'll bet they'd allow you to send something there. You could even ask that it be held for your arrival so it could get there before you do, which would make the timing a bit easier.

Contact the hotel. they can give the correct answer. Make sure if they say "yes" that you get all the information, including the name of the person you spoke with.

i would call the hotel and explain my situation. more than likely, because they value your business and your money, they would provide accomodations.
ask to speak to the front desk manager, and have him/her hold the package until you arrive.
i would imagine it to be quite simple.
