Well, I have heard of people getting rooms for $30 a night. You just have to be willing to take whatever you can find at that rate. Some of the hotels in the area are not in the best shape and/or location. If you don't mind being in an older hotel, a little ways from the park, you shouldn't have a hard time. You just have to search online and take the time to find the absolutel lowest priced rooms.

As far as tickets, check with Universal for their current ticket promotions. They have really good deals on their website all the time.

If you plan to do multiple parks at Disney or go several days, you should consider getting your passes ahead of time. You will save a little money over buying at the gate and you can purchase tickets that will get you several days in the parks, for a lower rate. Just remember, that with Disney, the longer your pass, the lower the average price per day is.

One thing to remember, this is per person. If you are wanting that price for more than one person, it is most likely impossible to do. The only way you could get it for any less is to stay at friends/families house and/or do a timeshare to get an inexpensive room and/or free tickets to some parks.

I hope this helps!

Expedia.com is a good place to look for hotels, as are websites of various hotels. You best bet is to get the tickets ahead of time to save money.
There is no such thing as a Cheap Hotel Package when you start tacking on theme park tickets.
