We are a family of 5(3 adults, 2 teenagers) traveling on a budget to Universal Orlando on October. We are looking for a good deal hotel with kitchen or kitchenette.
Any suggestions where to look?

My wife and I stayed at an Amerisuites across from the Universal Studios Parking Garage last month when we went to visit the Holyland Experience theme park. It is an older hotel with a few maintenance problems, but we found it to be a very good value for the money. It includes full breakfast with sausage and eggs (get there early), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and sink, beds, desk, and a sleeper sofa. There is also a shuttle to Universal. The address is 5895 Caravan Ct.
If you are willing to stay a little further away, check out the Extended Stay Deluxe at 8750 Universal Blvd. My wife and I stayed there a few years ago when it was known as Sierra Suites. It includes 2 queen beds, a sofa bed, full kitchen, table and chairs, and continental breakfast.

Look up "Orlando vacation rentals" in a search engine. you should find something there.

Don't overlook renting a house. I have a friend that goes to Disney several times a year. He says once he did that (rented a house) he will never stay in a hotel again. You can get a house with a private pool and everything.

Good luck, and have a great vacation!!!
