I wanted to know, because I do not want to be surprised. On 2003 I went there with small children and was surprised by the Gay Day thing, and they get really nasty with each other. They do not respect the people around. I don't want my 8 year old seeing that. They are everywhere around the parks. Please...what is that? How come they don't tell us BEFORE us entering the park? There is absolutely no warning about it. You actually pay to see them kissing and touching each other there.

properly you had to be attentive to the superb THRILL rides in Disney international? Your asking the proper guy. Disney isn't normally prevalent for thrills (IOA has some real good thrill rides) however the variety one thrill journey is expedition Everest interior the Animal Kingdom. that's a rather new journey it quite is unquestionably a rollercoaster outfitted right into a mountain. this is themed to an expedition it quite is crashed via a substantial Yeti. Rockin curler Coaster in MGM (otherwise prevalent as Disney Studios) is my 2d sought after on account that's a curler coaster it quite is desperate to Aerosmith music. I hear there are 4 distinctive tracks and the music is synched to the appeal. Tower of Terror in MGM is a 0.33 sought after. It has the same feeling to Haunted Mansion yet with a extra grown up attitude. this is spooky and that's a large journey that keeps changing with new programming presented via Imagineering each and every couple of years or so. have relaxing and be risk-free!

I know what you mean.
Like 2 years ago we were going down in the spring. I think we went late march, early april (sorry I can't remember exactly) and we saw a billboard advertising Disney Gay Days and it just happened to be like a week after we were leaving. We were like thank god. I mean I don't have anything against Gay people, but I sort of don't appreciate the over the top displays of affection.
So I'm not sure what to tell you, but to be safe I guess stay away during the spring?

The next Gay Day is in 308 days 17 hours and counting....the reason why they don't tell park visitors is because Disney is NOT a sponsor of Gay Day....this is presented by a group of lesbians and gay men who go to Universal and Walt Disney World every year.

I don't even want to see straight people kissing in public. That can be more gross than seeing 2 gay people kiss, not that I am opposed to that. I have many gay friends and love them to death!

At any rate, they do announce Gay Days! When I say 'they' I mean radio stations, a lot of billboards in town, the gay community even announces it. Did you not happen to see the giant, rainbow banner that said "Gay Days'? Typically they wear red shirts on gay days. Gay days usually happens in JUNE, so just check google or another website to make sure, and change your plans if it bothers you that much!

I was there this year and I didn't see anything bad happen. Gay people aren't going to make your kids gay, they won't even give you the 'gay touch'! What about the kids that already have gay parents? I am sure they bring their kids to Disney!

Love everybody!

It is a TOTAL lack of respect with others. They should let you know what you are going to get into. I am totally against gays and don't think kids have to witness this, after all it's a FAMILY park, not a GAY club. TO KUTEKYMMEE: I'ts a FAMILY park not a GAY club, sicko!

"You actually pay to see them kissing and touching each other there."

I know what you mean. The last time I went to Disney World, I saw men and women holding hands and kissing each other. People should only show their love for each other in the privacy of their own homes.

I did not pay good money to see men flaunting their girlfriends or women massaging their boyfriends' shoulders. Gross!

Disney should warn us that some people actually do that stuff.

Disney World does NOT sponsor a "Gay Day", or any other special day for any group.

But they do not discriminate and will not ban people from the park just because they may be gay.

If you dont want your 8 year old seeing gay people, you might as well lock him in the house for the rest of his life. Gays are everywhere, you see them every day. Thats a pretty bad thing to teach your kids, that you refuse to visit a theme park unless they discriminate the way you would like them to.

Yeah, all of the public displays of affection get a little over the top. Of course it seems to happen everywhere I go ... those hetero's should get a room.

Its gotten so out of hand ... its so mainstream these days! I can't go anywhere without being visually assaulted by their holding hands, making out, being in love .. its sick! What can you do hetero's are everywhere?

Its a total lack of respect ... those hypocrites!

I'm going in Aug. I will die if its going on that day!!! My kids would freak out. We do NOT agree with that lifestyle at all. If you find out the dates this year, let me know! We'll change our plans!
