Hey everyone,

I'm looking to have a birthday party for my two brothers on Saturday, July 7th.

Here is the wish list:
Semi-private area or large enough space for people to be comfortable on a saturday (willing to pay for it)
Hip-hop music
Places to sit
Bar can accommodate 60 people.
Anywhere in Manhattan
No ridiculous door policy.

Attendees will be between 24 and 34 years old.

Thanks for the help! We're willing to compromise, so definitely send over any suggestions you might have.

Just wanted to know how long it takes to commute to NYC from Weehawken and where you would pick up the train or how you would get there. (I work in Times Square) Looks like it goes in to Madison Square Garden from the Google Maps. Thanks.

well, we've decided to send mom and dad to nyc for their annvrsry, i think they will love it.

The Statue of lib....theyre gonna be there for just 3 days and dont want them to be in long lines when they could be doing other things...should they do the Staten I Ferry and skip the St of Lib and Ellis..?

But.. i've read that Ellis Islnd and its museum are great, emotional,etc... so if Ellis is a 'must see', I'll tell them to do the Statue n' Ellis ferry not the Staten Ferry..

So, looking for advice..from new yorkers and those who've been to Ellis I ...thanks

Hi,
We live in Florida and we always can just get one hotel room (2 queen beds) for 5 persons when we vacation. We do online reservation and we just enter 2 adults+ 2 kids (instead of 3 kids) . When we get to the reserved hotel, there is no problem even though they see 5 of us. How strict is New York hotels? Can we reserve for just one room or we have to get two rooms? By the way, any recommended for a decent midtown Mahattan hotels? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am flying in to JFK and need to get to New Jersey. If you look at the map or ask your GPS the suggested route is Belt Parkway, over the Verrazano Bridge then west to Interstate 95. However I'm told that you pass through some shady neighbourhoods and if you are not familiar with the route it is best to cross into Manhattan and pick up the 95 further North. Time of travel would be mid-week and around 4pm. Any advice ?
