Hi,
We live in Florida and we always can just get one hotel room (2 queen beds) for 5 persons when we vacation. We do online reservation and we just enter 2 adults+ 2 kids (instead of 3 kids) . When we get to the reserved hotel, there is no problem even though they see 5 of us. How strict is New York hotels? Can we reserve for just one room or we have to get two rooms? By the way, any recommended for a decent midtown Mahattan hotels? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You want to look into the Doubletree Suites hotel in Times Square. I have stayed there, it's a very nice and family friendly hotel. Very reasonable priced considering you will only have one room and you can't get a better location. As pointed out, most rooms in NYC are small, you probably can't put 5 people in them even if you wanted too. However the Doubletree is all suites, the rooms are huge with two living spaces. You can get a room with two beds and it will have a fold out in the adjacent living space (an attached living room). Check their website for pictures of the rooms, there are none larger in NYC as standard rooms. They will have no problem with you putting 5 people in one suite, it happens to them all the time. Feel free to message me if you want any more information.

Some people might prefer staying directly in NYC but the hotels in the city are more expensive plus they will also charge guests for daily parking. Traffic is awful, much worst than most major cities and street parking is very limited plus confusing as there is no parking meters rather some kind of box on the corner, that most likely you will end up taking a combination of the subway and Yellow taxis (independently owned I might add) to get around.

I have an older sister (who now lives in Calif) but she lived and worked in NYC after graduating from college and her husband whose parents now live in Fort Lee NJ do the same thing as we and many other tourists DO when visiting NYC, they stay in a good hotel chain in New Jersey and then catch the commuter trains carrying all the workers traveling daily into the Big Apple. This is exactly strategy that tourists do when visiting Washington DC, they stay in hotels in Arlington VA along the Metrorail and then commute into and out of the Nation's Capitol.

If possible, shop for a brand name hotel chain that offers free continental breakfast and then you all can eat your hearts out in New York City. Our kids also enjoyed the Statute of Liberty, Empire State Building and believe it or not the Toys R Us in Times Square has a huge indoor ferris wheel! Also SONY has a nice setup for tourists, esp the kids!

Enjoy Your Vacation!

Discover now the best sport betting system: http://sport-betting-tips.checkhere.info

Too many people think of sports betting as just something they do in their past time. However, many people can see the potential that exists if you manage to have the right sports betting strategy and correct approach to betting in general. Are you sick of losing? Interested in finding out how to turn your luck around? Do you want to know which sports betting strategies stand to help you make the most from your betting?

Any good strategy should allow you to place bets based on a systematic method. Of course there is always a random element or so called luck involved, but betting is all about stacking the odds in your favor. There should be no guess work involved or bets placed based on gut feelings. Betting is a business and it should be treated like one. Any money you use for betting needs to be separate from money you use for your daily life or anything else. How can you possibly expect to follow a strategy with money that was originally set aside to pay next week's rent with? You can't. This will help you to focus on the task of betting and remove any emotional strings attached to the money.

So what makes a good strategy or what should you look for in a strategy before you decide to implement it? Any good strategy needs to have a positive expectancy. This means that in the long run you will win. The hit rate of the strategy needs to be above 50% for you to be able to profit in the long run. An ideal win rate should be between 60 to 70%, because you will need to cover the fees and other expensive associated with betting. Is it feasible to expect you'll be able to find a system that has a 100% win rate? No, it isn't. The best you can do is find a system that has a positive expectancy and stick with it. In the long run you will make more money than you can possibly lose.

Keep whatever information and news you have about the teams as up to date as possible. Any changes in the teams makeup or factors that affect how the players play will great affect the potential outcome of a match. Make sure that you are constantly up to date on every aspect that affects the potential outcome of a match. Information is the key to winning at sports betting.

Research room sizes before booking because most of NYC hotel rooms are very small. But if you find a big enough double bed, then it wouldb't be a problem with your kids. I stayed at both Sheraton's in Manhathan before and they are pretty good with family and location. They have indoor pool and rooms are pretty big, and its only few blocks from Time Square. It usually runs $180-$200 per night.

Stay in a hotel apartment or rent a private apartment from someone. The price is usually the same as you'd pay once you calculate the extra bodies in a standard hotel room which will be cramped.

Most hotels only allow 4 but you might be able to get a suite. I would contact galaxytravel@verizon.net or http://www.galaxy.joystar.com
