I may relocate through work to Miami and my girlfriend is planning on moving with. We are from Chicago...Lincoln Park area, were is a good spot to live in miami ( or surrounging areas)? Something that would best suit a young (under 30) couple who enjoys a city atmosphere and everything it has to offer..... but is afraid of getting caught up in the fakeness of South Beach and rep of 24hr non stop party....Coconut Grove? Only going to be staying a couple days. Not looking for a wild party, but still a fun atmosphere, and most importantly nice beaches for swimming and hanging out (not too interested in surfing). Not really concerned about the cost, just wondering if one place is distinctly better and why. Thanks!
