MIA is the closest, but if you go to FT Lauderdale it's alot less expensive. Then it's only 1/2 hour south to South Beach.

Miami International Airport...but not far up the 95 north is Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Int Aiport which is a wonderful one to fly in and out of (It would take about 30-45 min to get there on the hi way.

FLL is served by more low cost airlines than MIA (tho MIA has some too) but then you have to factor in the cost of transport to SoBe. It's more like an hour & even longer during rush hours.

I believe the easiest for you is to arrive to Miami International Airport (MIA).
