we are planning a trip to salem and as i am going through the lists of available attractions, i am curious just how many witch museums there really are...they list the witch history musum, the witch museum, the witch dungeon museum, the witch house, the spellbound museum, a pirate museum, a wax museum, etc... are these actually seperate museums or connected to eachother or referred to by different names??? any help is appreciated. which museums and/ or attractions would you recommend? we are travelling during halloween with our 2 daughters who are 5 and 9. any info on boston's spookyworld, the lizzie borden b and b in fall river, and salem's psychic fair is also appreciated..thanks.

i hear halloween in salem is the mardi gras of the north, i've been to mardi gras and really don't want to have to deal with too many naked people...LOL. is there any ghetto areas or areas or 'hot spots' with alot of muggings and/or crime during halloween when the tourists are in record numbers? we want to have fun with the kids but want to make sure we are safe as well. any info would be appreciated. thanks.

I've recently found out that I am moving to New Mexico within 4 weeks/by May 1st, but possibly as soon as next tuesday.

It'll be 2 parents, a teenager, and a 2 yr old

We're looking for a city with:

-city electricity/water (we're not moving right into the sticks)

-moving agents/van lines (father's line of work) within 20 minutes of town

-cigarettes no more than $5.50 a pack

-rent for a 2 bed apt or house no more than $750/month

-english as the spoken language of the teachers in the mainstream classes of the public schools (however, school quality otherwise is not a big issue)

-and preferably a town with at least 3,000 people or within 5 minutes of such a town

My Mom is a grade school teacher and her spring break is the first week of April. I'd like to go to Florida with her. We'd have to fly out of Gary, IN or South Bend, IN or Midway, Chicago or last resort, O'Hare in Chicago. I was thinking Orlando would be cheap if we stayed in town and not at Disney. I was thinking 4 or 5 nights and maybe going to MGM or Animal Kingdom 'cause I haven't been there yet. Anyone know of any good packages at a decent hotel with a nice swimming pool and attractive grounds with a shuttle to Disney?

I've done plenty of research, and common knowledge tells me the South isn't too accepting to black still anyway.. but with Atlanta being labeled as "the city too busy to hate", how are the people there when it comes to an interracial couple? My fiancee is black, and we currently live in California, but I love the Atlanta area.. but I wouldn't want to move there if we would still get problems going shopping or walking down the street. If you live there, great.. if you may know from experience, even better.

I realize "racism is everywhere", but it's definitely more obvious in some places than not. It's not that easy to ignore, either. Unless you're in one it's hard to tell for sure.

Any answers is highly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm just curious about the area where you live.I can see the parking area in front of my house, and on the right there's a grass and then the woods since I live in a village on the mountains in northern Italy.
