Paris, you and Nicky need to get out of Beverly Hills more often. Whitley Heights IS the neighborhood near the Hollywood Bowl, NOT Whitney Heights.

Whitley Heights is a historic neighborhood located in the hills above Hollywood Blvd. Lots of lovely old Houses from the 1920's in the hills there. It's a great place to live as long as you don't live on any of the major streets like Highland Ave..horrid traffic nightmare. The 101 freeway cuts right through the neighborhood, so traffic will drive you crazy.. just trying to get down to get some groceries will be a major pain. But, you are right in the heart of Hollywood, close to all the action.

It's hard to say what qualifies as middle income in L.A. Yes, that would be a middle income neighborhgood, but houses there cost about $800,000 or more. Some of the apartment builldings are nice while others on Highland and Cahuenga..maybe a little sketchy.
