I mean, live, work and study. How are foreigners treated? Where are the calm places (with farms, etc), and are there any good colleges near them? Is the cost of living cheaper than in England?

URGENT --- would like to talk to someone about lifting my mother-in-law who is flying from Stanstead and has arranged transportation from there to aircraft getting a wheelchair to get her on plane. VERY GOOD but what happens in Edinburgh she cannot walk over the way to the lift up let down area . Last year she nearly took a heart attack again. I do not want this happening this year and may i add she has a Disability Card as do I --- I WAS told that with this i could park in a bay in the car part BUT THIS IS NO GOOD i need to pick her up at the door. We have mobile phones if i could get through the gates.

Me and the girls are flying out to Edinburgh tomorrow morning for the weekend. We are not sure what top do. The only sightseeing we want to do is the castle, nothing more. Mainly would like to go for a nice lunch, some shopping and some bars/clubs to go to in the evenings! any suggestions?

thanks.

Its not a massive park, and its near the city center...have a look on google maps. I've never seen people camp there, only walkers. But is that to say a person couldn't? Do different parks have their own restrictions? Cheers

The dumbest one I heard was from a couple of Old American women wandering through West Princes Street Gardens. They were moaning there wasn't an elevator to take them up the Castle Rock (LOL)!

I'm planning to go to Edinburgh this summer and I'm looking for a cheap guest house/hotel/B&B in the city center (in a walking distance from the castle).
