I'm travelling to Edinburgh (Eastern 6th-9th of April) are the shops open on holiday? Saturday of course they will be open but on Friday, Sunday and Monday? Can someone give me an information? (In my country all shops are closed!) Thanks a lot!

I presume you mean EASTER.

Good Friday is not a holiday in Scotland, so all the shops will be open, as they will be on Saturday.

Sunday trading hours in Scotland are more liberal than in the rest of the UK, so most shops will be open on Easter Sunday. However, some smaller shops or the very specialist ones, may not be open.

Although Easter Monday will be a local holiday, most shops will be open (as per Easter Sunday)

You will not notice any difference. In fact some stores have sales on. We are not bound by Sunday opening laws relating to England & Wales.
