The dumbest one I heard was from a couple of Old American women wandering through West Princes Street Gardens. They were moaning there wasn't an elevator to take them up the Castle Rock (LOL)!

Why did they build the castle so close to the railway station?
Is that the same moon we have in the states?

I was waiting at the pedestrian crossing at Shandwick Place. It is a two stage crossing. The lights went red for the traffic & the recorded voice said `Traffic going to Princes Street has been signalled to stop'. Two American old ladies asked me what it was for. I said it's for blind people. The couple said `Are blind people allowed to drive in Edinburgh?'

True story. I just looked at them & walked off speechless!!.
