I'm planning to go to Edinburgh this summer and I'm looking for a cheap guest house/hotel/B&B in the city center (in a walking distance from the castle).

Anything in the City Centre is within walking distance from the Castle .... the longest walk up the hill would be around 25 minutes and down the hill around 15.

There are a large range of hotels graded by star rating, last minute specials and locality on the links below, with images to help .... that often provides a good idea.

wonderful anecdotes... for the period of the competition, different than a cancellation or hollow evening between bookings you will no longer locate something in critical Edinburgh for in basic terms one evening - nonetheless it helps somewhat that that's midweek. in case you do it wont be low fee - expenses are around three times bigger than interior the off-season. Realistically you will would desire to holiday in from the edge of Edinburgh or previous in neighbouring cities (South Queensferry, Penicuik, Livingston working example) and could attempt a seek on that foundation as you would be dropping your attempt in thev city. Sorry this isnt the respond you desire, although that's an precise mirrored photograph of the city's lodging for the period of the worlds maximum well known arts competition.
